Cecilia Claudio has been a CIO for 20 years working for some of the largest companies and helping to solve some of their most complex business and technology challenges. Cecilia has recently joined StrataFusion, and brings a wealth of experience that will help our clients in all aspects of running highly efficient IT organizations. Her experience in outsourcing, vendor management, and complex project management have earned her recognition as a subject matter expert in all aspects of infrastructure management, and data center operations.

Experience

Most recently Cecilia served as Vice President and General Manager of the Enterprise Solutions group of Hewlett-Packard, leading a multi-billion dollar business unit. Prior to HP, Cecilia was Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Zurich Financial Services, an insurance-based financial services provider and the parent company of Farmers Insurance Group, Inc., where Claudio served as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer and Chief Transformation Officer from 1998 to 2003. In addition, Cecilia has also served as Senior VP and CIO of SanDisk Corporation, a flash memory data storage company and held CIO roles at several large companies including Mercury Interactive, Align Technology, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, and Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield (later WellPoint). During her years as a CIO she has been recognized as one of the most influential women in IT, and one of the top eight IT Executives in the financial services industry. Cecilia has additional experience in Information Technology and Computer Services for well-known companies such as Xerox, Mervyn's, Gap and Olivetti Worldwide.

Additionally, in 2004 Cecilia was named an Executive in Residence at Clearstone Venture Partners, a venture capital firm and continues to serve in an advisory capacity for the VC community.

As a faculty member of Harvard School of Public Health from 1994 to 1997, Cecilia lectured to business leaders about the aspects of aligning business goals and information technology.

Cecilia sits on several boards including Sybase and has been on the advisory boards for Cisco, IBM, AT&T and Siebel among others.

Education

Cecilia has a Masters Degree in Philosophy from the University of Lisbon, Portugal.
